[COMING SOON]
The ghost town of Ivayami lingers beneath heavy fog that twists streets, warps memories, and erodes the minds of those who wander inside. Journalism student Cynthia Moriyama and her three friends decide to investigate, but she finds herself alone after a sudden car crash. To reunite with her friends, she must wander the fog-ridden streets - but what she finds waiting for her out there is way worse than being lost.

A town that breathes
The journey through Ivayami is one of fear and vulnerability. The town seems to be conscious, reshaping paths and hiding its truths behind locked doors, broken machines, and puzzles carved into forgotten walls. Every discovery carries risk, and every risk drags Cynthia deeper into a place that feeds on her anxiety. Every moment spent there is permeated with a feeling of uneasiness, a feeling that you are not alone.

Survive the streets
Monsters, shadows of their former selves, haunt the streets, spreading the fog that poisons the air, forcing you to stay mindful of every step, every sound, and every breath, in order to survive. Cynthia’s only defenses are her wits, her sense of duty, and the few fragile tools she finds along the way. Light flickers, maps mislead as the streets shift underfoot, and the thin line between safety and despair narrowing at every turn.

Immerse in the atmosphere
Ivayami is not just a setting, it is a presence that shapes everything within it. Some places promise refuge, only to warp into traps, while others confront you with decay, rituals, and remnants of lives long gone. Silence can be oppressive in one street, while distant noises guide you through another. Every corner carries both history and threat, forcing you to question whether the town is revealing its secrets… or luring you deeper into the Fog.

Fragmented people
Her friends are not just objectives to be rescued, but fragile lives distorted by the Fog. Their personalities corrupts, their views change, revealing sides of themselves never shown before. Reuniting them is as much about saving Cynthia’s humanity as it is about escaping Ivayami.

So, I played the demo and while the visuals and atmosphere of the game were great, I didn't find the gameplay appealing and sometimes even frustrating. Most of my gameplay consisted of crouching to stay hidden and waiting for enemies to turn around so I can sneak past which isn't very engaging, especially when you slow down significantly while crouched.(the enemies can also see extrememly far, I was sometimes even spotted before they appeared on my screen)
I'm not sure if this game is trying to be survival-horror but a defensive option would be appreciated. The puzzles were good and I find the cassette tapes to work interestingly as a healing resource. I liked it overall, but wouldn't play it to completion if it released in its current state.
